She’d stop by to see me if I was up to much
We got on well I think she even liked me

She had a twelve shot pistol handcuffs and such
Keeping troubles down to a legal level
At keeping the peace she was something special

She listened to my troubles over a coffee cup
Tried hard to understand me never gave up
She came to my rescue when I was during my possessions
A for foot fire hosed down to lessen the heat

She drove me to the hospital up from front with her
She took all my attention of her I had no fear
Was called and he stated the case
When I came home after fifteen day fourteen nights
She welcomed me to the pueblo yes that’s right

She kept her eye on me aware of my potential
Cam up most every week in rain snow and hail
I have often wondered if she was ever promoted
Since to her work she was devoted

Maria drive la policia’s blue truck
She’d stop by each week to see if I was still en contacto
